Ricci flow and geometrization

In these talks, I will discuss recent progress on Ricci flow and its applications to studying low dimensional manifolds.
I will first give a brief tour of Perelman's new results on Ricci flow and their role in proving the geometrization of 3-manifolds and Poincare conjecture. Then I will discuss new estimates we developed in last few years on Ricci flow and Einstein equation in dimension 4.
