Course 2: Generalized Nash equilibria and their computation.
(Francisco FACCHINEI, Professor, University of Rome (La Sapienza), Italia)
Short description of the course.
In this short course we consider generalized Nash equilibrium problems. After
briefly reviewing some of the main results about existence we proceed to
describe algorithms for the computation of the solutions to Nash equilibrium
problems, pointing out the many challenges one has to face in tackling this
problem. We consider both local Newton methods and globally
convergent algorithms and present some modern, engineering applications.
