Workshop on Derived Categories

Lecture room:  The workshop will take place in the Auditorium of the CRM, which is located in the Science Building (Edifici de Ciències), of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, in Bellaterra.

Saturday sessions: The lectures on Saturday, November 10, will take place at the Mathematics Faculty of Universitat de Barcelona (Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 585), in Aula B5 on the ground floor. There will be a map in your folder.

Secretariat: The Secretariat of the CRM is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 17:00.

Breaks: Coffee and cookies will be served during the morning breaks.

Lunch: The CRM provides registered participants with free lunch tickets to be used at the restaurant located in the Science Building of the UAB for the days of the workshop except Saturday. You will find the tickets inside your folder. Information about lunch menus is given on the back of the tickets.

Social dinner: A dinner party will take place at Citrus Restaurant (Passeig de Gràcia, 44) downtown Barcelona, on Friday November 9, at 20:30. Participants interested in coming to this dinner should sign up at the CRM Secretariat before Wednesday, November 7, at noon, and pay 35 €. Please sign up and pay during coffee break time only.

Cultural activity: A visit to Casa Batlló (Passeig de Gràcia, 43) will be organized, free of charge, on Friday, November 9, at 19:00, before the dinner. If you are interested in this visit, please sign up at the CRM Secretariat (during coffee break time only) before Wednesday, November 7, at noon. After having signed, you will receive further details regarding the visit.

Picture: A group picture will be taken on Wednesday, November 7, before the coffee break. We will inform you of the place to meet. The picture will be posted on the workshop’s web page and a printed copy will be handed to participants.

Xerox machine: The University has a xerox machine service located on the ground floor of the Science Building. It is open from 9:00 to 14:00. The price of each photocopy is 0.04 €.

Computer facilities: The CRM premises and most of the UAB Campus have wireless connection. The computer network of the CRM will be available for workshop participants from 8:30 to 17:00.

Library: The library of the UAB Science Building is open from 8:30 to 19:30 on working days.

Questionnaire: Following the directions of the CRM Governing Board, we give a questionnaire to all the people participating in CRM activities, in order to assess their level of satisfaction. The questionnaire is anonymous and not mandatory, but we would greatly appreciate it if you could answer the questions and return it to us.
